The Evangelical Lutheran village church of St. Trinitatis is located with the neighboring Friedenskirche St. Veit in the municipality of Veilsdorf in the district of Hildburghausen in Thuringia. The trees in front of it, laid out as a small avenue, are listed buildings.

Right on the B89 in front of the Sagassermarkt. Just stop and explore while buying a drink.

A small remnant of an old monastery cellar. Here you can still admire an old coat of arms. Cucumbers used to be stored in the cellar. Today the cellar is closed.

The Veilsdorf town hall. This is where the citizens go to take care of their business and to drink a beer. Many village festivals also take place here from spring to autumn. The architecture alone is certainly worth a visit.

The "old" school as a prefabricated building no longer exists. A new, very modern school now stands on the site.

Good for refreshment. The fountain is beautifully decorated for Easter and celebrations. There is an inn next door.

A new, modern party location in Schackendorf. Many village festivals are held here in spring and summer. In summer you can cool off at the fountain, and there is an inn right next door.
