On the exterior facade of the Illerich church—dedicated to Saint Vincent—stands a large crucified Christ. The artist of this work, a war memorial or war memorial, may have borrowed from the Romanesque style. Below the crucified Christ, four plaques bear the names of the victims this town also mourned in the two World Wars. The fifth plaque, placed in the middle between the others, bears the inscription: "Great is he who sacrifices himself and gives his life for his own."
