It's a small town, but well worth a visit. The pretty, narrow streets are lined with numerous beautiful old half-timbered houses.

The ship-shaped timber-framed house consists of a group of three sections, decorated with diamond-shaped parapet panels and small St. Andrew's crosses. The house dates from 1517.

The 786-meter-long Pünderich viaduct on the Moselle line opposite Pünderich on the Moselle is the longest viaduct in Germany. Built between 1877 and 1880, it has 92 openings and is 10 meters high. Construction costs at the time were approximately 460,000 marks. From July 19, 1944, to March 3, 1945, enemy aircraft attempted to destroy the viaduct. Despite intensive shelling, the viaduct remained largely undamaged.
