The Adolph Mordt Memorial commemorates the fallen of the Baden Revolution of 1849 and is idyllically situated in the forest near Walldürn. A quiet historical site, it makes a wonderful place for a short rest stop on a hike. Surrounded by trees, the memorial seems almost hidden, lending the tour a special historical touch.

It's open year-round and freely accessible. Along the enclosures, you can observe various species of game in their natural habitat. You've seen wild boars with piglets and red deer here, but other animals such as fallow deer and mouflon often live there as well.
