On the market square in Miltenberg you will find one of the most beautiful ensembles of half-timbered houses in the entire region. A highlight in this otherwise worth seeing town. From here you can go up to the castle and from there into the forest.

Miltenberg…👍 This is one of our favorite RV parking spots, we like to go on hikes and long bike rides along the Main or through the beautiful vineyards from there… The old town of Miltenberg is also beautiful - we always enjoy going to the wine festival 🚲Greetings from the Wetterau… Simone & Michael🙋🏻🙋‍♂️

Beautiful old town, unfortunately closed on Mondays

On the market square, surrounded by many beautiful half-timbered houses, is the market fountain, which was created in 1583 by the sculptor Michael Junker from red sandstone and is decorated with dancing putti. The Schnatterloch tower at the back of the square forms a passage to the forest. A footpath begins here that leads visitors directly to Mildenburg. The Schnatterloch itself is a hole in the tower from which a drainage channel leads to the market square. The town parish church of St. Jakobus is also located in the immediate vicinity of the market square.
