Heiligendamm에서 Kühlungsborn까지 매우 아름다운 코스입니다. 단단한 길을 걷는 것을 좋아한다면 Steilküstenweg(제방 때문에 항상 물을 볼 수 있는 것은 아님)를 이용하고, 그렇지 않다면 해변을 따라 직접 걷고, Hühnergötter(작은 돌)를 찾고 바람을 코에 맞으세요 🤩

The Friderico-Francisceum is a humanistic grammar school in Bad Doberan, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, founded in 1879 as a preparatory high school. The school bears the name of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, who founded it. Since 1991, the school's original name has been restored, following other names such as "Goetheschule" during the GDR era.

The interior features 19th-century wall and vault paintings by Karl Christian Andreae, based on medieval remains. They depict, among others, Christ, the Apostles, the Wise and Foolish Virgins, and the Obotrite Prince Gottschalk. The altar is dedicated to the Archangel Michael, the companion and weigher of souls.

The guesthouse served as accommodation for visitors to the monastery in the Middle Ages and is now a preserved ruin, a reminder of the monastery's medieval significance. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the monastery church and the visitor center. The ruins are now integrated into hiking and cultural trails and can be explored as part of city tours or private visits.

We really enjoyed the city museum. It's a must-see! 😉 The courtyard features bathing machines, which I hadn't seen before. There's no entrance fee. All in all, it's highly recommended.
