There were already several piers before that, but they were mostly destroyed by storm surges or heavy ice. The owner of the first hotel ("Anastasia") in Graal-Müritz built a jetty in 1882 to offer his guests steamer connections to Warnemünde. A year later, in November 1883, the bridge was destroyed by a storm surge, as was the bridge that had subsequently been rebuilt. It was so badly damaged in the winter of 1890/1891 that it too had to be demolished. In 1905, a 320-meter-long jetty was financed by a private individual near the Stromgraben.

Graal Müritz has everything. Forest, water and plenty of relaxation with a breath of fresh sea air. There is a lot to discover.

Because of many fallen trees, the beach from here towards Stolper Ort (west) is impassable. Observed in June 2024. You simply move into the forest. Otherwise it is wonderfully natural and quiet here and not raked.

Haha. The place is of course called Stolper Ort. At the moment in June 2024, this also has a literal meaning. Due to many fallen trees, the beach towards the east is impassable.
