Great view. Not from the swing though, too many trees in the way.

Unfortunately, there's no view from the swing because everything is overgrown...

It's a wonderful place to relax, and the view of the mountains is priceless. The sunshade is great, and many thanks to those who make this a very cozy place. 😍

The choir tower of the hall church, topped with a Italian dome and decorated with cornerstones, was built around 1600. The nave, covered with a gable roof, was added to it to the west around 1720. The church furnishings also date from this period. A wooden barrel vault spans the interior.

Very nice to ride on a gravel bike.

Oberschwappach Castle is a Baroque castle. The castle was built between 1733 and 1738 as a strikingly representative official residence of the St. Gangolf district of the Cistercian Abbey of Ebrach under Abbot Wilhelm I Sölner.
