The Protestant parish church of St. Peter is a listed church building located in Ermershausen, a market town in the Lower Franconian district of Haßberge (Bavaria). The church tower is probably medieval in the basement and was rebuilt in 1730. The Freedom Bell in Ermershausen commemorates dark hours of the Bavarian state government!

It towers, slightly elevated, over the town.

Seating area with lots of information, right on the cycle path. You have a lovely view from here. Unfortunately the seating area is very old and rotten.

The modest, late Gothic complex gives an idea that not all nobles lived in magnificent, large castles. The ruins are freely accessible. There is a village community center on the site, which can be used for events.
