The view from Waldbrunn to Eisingen offers you a wonderful view of the valley and the surrounding area. Especially when the weather is clear, you can enjoy the vastness of the landscape and take in the peaceful atmosphere - ideal for a short rest or a photo.

The Pfetzerquelle (also: Pfetzer-Quelle) is a spring between Mädelhofen and Waldbrunn, at the foot of the Brunnrain hill (291 m above sea level), north of the Mädelhofen hunting lodge ruins. As a tributary of the Haselbach, the spring supplies the Aalbach with water even after long dry periods. The freely accessible spring was lined with shell limestone blocks and can be reached via steps. The woods and trees surrounding the Pfetzerquelle provide an important habitat for wildlife and (cycling) hikers a high quality place to stay for a short rest despite the proximity to the motorway. The toll/customs fee collectors were once called Pfetzer.

The Prince-Bishop's Foundations near Waldbrunn are the remains of a hunting lodge that was built in the 18th century by the Prince-Bishops of Würzburg. The castle was destroyed in World War II and is now a ruin. The foundations are a popular hiking destination and offer an insight into the history of the region.
