A lovely biotope. The small lake is densely overgrown with reeds. A small, inconspicuous bench invites you to rest and take in the beauty of nature. I think you can also observe all sorts of birds and other animals here. When we were there, we saw many birds, a grey heron, dragonflies, and so on.

On the grounds of ZG Raiffeisen in Werbach-Wenkheim, there are old half-timbered buildings and a historic mill – a fascinating insight into the region's agricultural and industrial history. A short stop is worthwhile.

Brunntal belongs to the municipality of Werbach. The place was first mentioned as Brunnenthal in 1222. The municipality and almost all households took part in a major village renovation from 1984 to 1994. In 1992 the town took part in the competition "Our village should become more beautiful" and won first place.

The shrine dates from 1624. At the beginning of the Thirty Years' War, the plague raged in Brunntal. Only seven people survived. The shrine commemorates this.
