A visit to Michael Singraber's Café MARIA THERESIA is worthwhile for many reasons: o) Delicious ice cream, coffee, and pastries with friendly service o) The Imperial Room with stucco ceiling, crystal chandelier, antique furniture, pendulum clock, and parquet flooring o) The atmospheric wine cellar o) The outdoor dining area o) Bakery o) Grocery store Maria Theresa once stayed here. The Araburg is impressively situated on the mountain as you climb up from Kaumberg. The castle is worth a visit; the inner courtyard is very inviting.

The Mauer Pilgrims' Association has erected an impressive shrine on the ascent to the Araburg.

In the center of Kaumberg there is a beautiful square with the interesting Fasslbrunnen.

The parish church of St. Michael in Kaumberg is a beautiful Gothic building located high above the market town. Its interior is in good condition. Its history dates back to 1256.
