Idyllic mountain lake, cycling allowed to the lake

The absolute highlight in Styria was our snow hiking tour. The snow was a bit too deep, but because there were 7 of us, we could regularly take turns with the first position. Snowshoes can be hired in Hohentauern, among other places. The huts were closed due to the day, but with some provisions and good clothing you can make ends meet 😊🥾❄️

The parking lot now costs 5 euros

The parking fee is now 5 euros... The Bergerhube is a cozy meeting place for hungry hikers, tourers and others... The food is very good and the portions are out of this world! Definitely come back!
