Warnemünde's sandy beach is simply fantastic. It's about 2 km long and quite wide, narrowing towards the west. The water is quite shallow but quickly deepens. In addition to the sand and sea, there are beach chairs, beach bars, etc.

The cruise terminal in Warnemünde is one of the most important ports of call for international cruise ships on the Baltic Sea. During the summer months, it's bustling with activity as guests from all over the world discover the seaside resort or embark on new voyages. Along the central pier, you can best spot the ocean giants that set sail from here—for example, to Norway or the Baltic Sea metropolises.

The first buildings in the fishing village arose along the Alter Strom (Old Stream) in Warnemünde: small, whitewashed captain's and fishermen's houses with thatched roofs, often colorfully decorated doors, and low gables facing the water. Narrow alleys led to the harbor, where fishing boats docked. Alexandrinenstraße, in particular, running parallel to the stream, still displays this historic structure today: narrow lots, densely built rows of small houses, and a maritime flair that preserves the original character of the town.
