The educational trail starts very close to the Höpen Heath Kiosk. The "Heath Farmers' Trail" educational trail takes you on a short journey of discovery and, along the way, learns how people lived and worked on the heathland 200 years ago, and what they cultivated. The trail is only 3.7 km long, making it easy to manage with children. The trail also includes a barefoot path.
