Interesting. Who would put something like that in the middle of the forest? Judging by the condition of the figures, they have been there for a long time and exude a somewhat morbid charm. Apparently the forestry workers even put a warning on one of the trees, which is probably intended to prevent the ensemble from being accidentally run over.

The Kreuweg ends at a cross with gravestones (an old Weidelshof family cemetery??) and a bench.
