Highlight 2 of the 4 Million Years of Human History Cycle Route: Since we still have a long way to go, we turn left and cycle along the Beber River, initially only passing the rear of Hundisburg Castle. However, a visit to Hundisburg Castle is an absolute must at the end of the tour or on another date! More detailed information about the castle, the castle restaurant, the castle shop, accommodation options, and the adjacent House of the Forest (especially recommended for families with children) can be found on site or at www.schloss-hundisburg.de.

Nasty cyclist trap: A small bollard right in the middle of the path. Apparently, asking cyclists to dismount is enough. There are no "motorists must push their bikes" signs, but apparently, cyclists get away with it...
