Park of the Endless Column

Beautiful small park and in the middle is the famous sculpture built by Constantin Brâncuși.

An interesting table named The Table of Silence (in Romanian “Masa Tăcerii”) made by Constantin Brâncuși recognised by UNESCO World Heritage. You are probably not allowed to eat at the table. Security is nearby.

At the exit of Cerna Sat, a small town in the Cernei Valley, the Cerna River has carved a spectacular landscape into the limestone walls of the Mehedinti Mountains, with vertical walls reaching 100 m in height, overhangs and gorges of 4 to 6 meters ascending to the Corcoaiia Gorges.

A small path leads here from the actual path, which is not marked in komoot. This place is perfect for a short break by the lake. It is not clear whether you can actually camp here, as there are hardly any flat areas. But it is definitely suitable for accessing the lake with a boat, or for exiting.

Is also very suitable for camping as it is quite flat, or to park your caravan here. When I was camping there, there were still quite a few caravans there. You also have a great sunrise from here. The only drawback is that there is no spring or river within walking distance.
