Tucked away on a bend in the Cumberland River known as Neely's Bend, Peeler Park provides a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Prior to becoming a park, the land was a working farm for over 250 years. The park still retains a pastoral feel, with remnants of the Peeler family farm, like the house and dairy barns, potentially still visible on higher ground.

Peeler Park Greenway is a bit of a secret gem, tucked away. Many locals aren't even aware of this beautiful escape from the city life of Nashville. The greenway boasts a 3.7-mile paved path, perfect for walkers, joggers, cyclists, and even rollerbladers.

Moss-Wright Park boasts a replica of Manskers Station, a fort originally built in the late 1700s. This provides a glimpse into the area's frontier history. Explore the park's scenic loop trail, part of which winds alongside a peaceful creek, offering a lovely escape from the city.

Named after a German longhunter and early settler, Mansker established a fortified station, Mansker Station, near the creek in 1780. The creek provides a vital habitat for various fish, turtles, birds, and other wildlife species. It's a great spot for nature enthusiasts to observe local fauna.

The Stones River Greenway runs along the river and crosses under several bridges. Early on the trail is very nice with only a bit of noise as you get close to I-40.
