Beautiful dales village. Famous as the filming location for ‘All Creatures Great and Small.’ There are lots of trails for walking and cycling directly from the village. Some lovely pubs and restaurants and boutique shops.

When the River Wharfe isn't carrying too much water, it's a wonderful place to swim. It's also recommended in the "wild guide."

A very beautiful spot in the Yorkshire Dales. The series "The Doctor and the Dear Creature" was filmed here in 2020. (All Creatures Great and Small) The pub "The Devonshire" serves a delicious beer - Landlord Dark

This is a big mistake!!! Continue on Burnsall lane, otherwise you end up trying to get your bike over this very narrow bridge, then have to push your bike up a mountain of very large steps. No fun with an electric pedal assist!!!

Beautiful market town having held a royal charter since 1282! Home of the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue team. Plenty of welcoming cafes and pubs. A walkers metropolis, plenty of tourists and cyclists.

Please note: the path over the Stepping Stones shown by Komoot can only be used when the water level of the River Wharfe is low. At the moment (June 24) the river is carrying so much water due to the heavy rain that you have to take the path over Linton Bridge!

a joyous short walk from Grassington. When in full flow, the noise/sound of the flowing water is very serene. You can sit and just listen and enjoy the flow of the water and watch it move. A definite if you are in the area.

If you visit in the winter time, the stones are most likely to be under water, but there's another permanent crossing just a km or so up the river at Linton Falls
