A pass for cars, bikers come down to the pass, and then it's straight back up again on the other side. There's a good restaurant here, with a terrace in the summer 😜

Europa-Park in Rust is Germany's largest theme park and one of the most popular in Europe. Spreading across approximately 95 hectares, it offers over 100 attractions and shows, including numerous roller coasters and themed areas representing various European countries. The resort also includes several hotels and the year-round Rulantica water park. 🎢🌍

Going down was a pleasure, going up was not so much fun because of the heavy traffic.

Even though you had to ride downhill here on the Schwarzwald Super!, I would only do it as a climb. Riding at high speed on gravel/sand isn't fun on a road bike, especially since the path is very narrow.

A great climb from Hinterzarten – or a descent there. Challenging, with fantastic views every now and then. And at the top, you know: this is what the Black Forest smells like.

Visually a highlight of old architecture

For me, this has always been one of the most beautiful climbs in the Black Forest. Crisp, idyllic, and essentially car-free.
