Nice place to visit during the day. Be aware about the stray dogs. They can be aggressive, specially if you are by bike and/or with a dog. If you want to relax, you can access the little forest easily which is on the other side of the lake. Be aware that some locals can take advantage of you, specially if you are a solo female. (This has happened to me and other girls I have spoken to). So better to be surrounded by other tourist or in a group.

I can only agree. The entire last part of the climb offers breathtaking views of the national park and its mountains

Long but comfortable climb. Rarely over 6% gradient and wonderful views

Via a gravel path you reach a blue-green reservoir. Nice break spot. Locals go fishing there. Unfortunately, swimming is not allowed.

Perfect for camping!🏕 There are some trees on the other side of the lake with flat gras.

When cycling the climb up is a little steep, bit worth the view. There might be some tourist buses coming and going because it's in a lot of tours from Cappadocia. Don't go swimming in the lake the locals told us.
