Great view from Emerald Pools Trail of the valley and the Virgin River. This is a great place along the trail to take a quick break to enjoy the peaceful setting.

Warning! In our opinion, this trail is not suitable for beginners and can only be completed with good footwear. The way there is steeply downhill on bare rock. The trail is very poorly marked! The way back is accordingly difficult and demanding uphill. However, the effort is worth it because the waterfall is very beautiful.

As you descend into the canyon, you'll be greeted by the soothing sound of cascading water and the breathtaking beauty of the falls. With its crystal-clear waters plunging into a deep pool below, it is a sight to behold.

On a hot day, the Mill Creek Waterfall and pool is the place to be for locals and visitors alike. After following narrow trails through a small stand of trees you reach the lower pool where you can cool off and swim in the water. If you are comfortable with heights and a little scrambling, you can climb up to the top of falls to jump off by following the trail up a slick rock slab. This is a great place to go swimming, take some photos, and relax in this desert oasis either as the final destination for your run, or on the way back from exploring further up Mill Creek Canyon.

This is the most impressive waterfall along the Dry Creek, but it can get pretty crowded. Coming early or during the week will help you avoid having to weave in and out of too many hikers.

The Fifth Water Hot Springs and Waterfall are an ideal spot to cool off or warm up during your bike ride. It's easy to find different pools at the springs and waterfall of different temperatures, so enjoy bouncing between them! The area is also known to have frequent snake appearances, so be aware of your surroundings, especially if visiting with children.
