The Skywalk in Willingen is truly an experience! You stand high above the Mühlenkopf ski jump and feel like you are almost floating above the treetops - the view of the surrounding forests and hills is simply magnificent. When you then look down, you get an impression of what the ski jumpers are doing here - absolutely dizzying, but also really impressive!

If you pass the mighty ski jump in Willingen by bike or on foot, you will be amazed. The huge facility towers imposingly into the sky, almost as if it were touching the clouds. Right next to it, the Skywalk floats like a narrow bridge over the trees and offers a magnificent view of the Upland. From down here, it all seems almost surreal - and really makes you want to climb up yourself.

A delicate structure that, despite its mass, looks like a lightly stretched ribbon that seems to float above the Stryck valley. The paths that lead there look very well used. It is definitely like an attractive strong magnet in the region. Have fun walking.

For me an architectural masterpiece and a highlight of the region.

Spectacular views from the Skywalk

At an impressive 665 meters long, the 120-ton structure leads from the internationally famous Mühlenkopfschanze through the Willingen district of Stryck to the Musenberg. Visitors can look far into the distance from an impressive height of one hundred meters over the breathtaking low mountain landscape of the Upland. With a length of 665 meters and a width of 1.30 meters, 700 people can enter the bridge at the same time. Sufficient parking spaces are available to visitors at Stryckbahnhof and in Strycktal. The local catering industry is well catered for. As of 2023, the Skywalk is Germany's longest suspension bridge (665 m at a height of 100 m). Entry is possible for EUR 11 per person (turnstile, as of 08/2023). All designated parking spaces are free of charge and there are combined tickets for the inclined lift at the ski jump and the Ettelsberg cable car. The suspension bridge is really an experience and the view is better than expected at this location - at least on the side of the bridge facing away from the ski jump ;-)
