This is one of the more than 100 existing "Saar-Hunsrück dream loops" that make the large area south of the Moselle very attractive as a hiking destination. In the brochure it is described with the words "With magnificent views, the hiking trail leads from the Hunsrück plateau ... into the deep Ehrbach valley. In complete isolation, the path runs along a narrow path along the stream. There are steep ascents and descents with ... surprising views." The dream loop is 8.5 kilometers long, 390 meters in altitude and is described as taking 3 to 4 hours to walk.

I am surprised at how beautiful and varied the path through the gorge is.

Geierlay🌁 It is a free mega pedestrian rope bridge in Rhineland-Palatinate, opened on October 3, 2015. 🧭 Located in the Hunsrück, it crosses the Mörsdorfer Bachtal between the local communities of Mörsdorf (Rhein-Hunsrück district) and Sosberg (Cochem-Zell district). At 360 m long, it was the longest suspension rope bridge in Germany until 2017🇩🇪

The Mistlochgraben flows in the Hubertus Gorge. The Hubertus Viaduct is a stone bridge with six arches. The Hunsrückbahn railway line is in operation from Boppard to Emmelshausen. It is considered the steepest operated railway line in Germany with an altitude of 335 meters over an 8 km length.
