Always along the Spitter. The stream gurgles and babbles. Simply wonderful. If you're out early, don't underestimate the temperatures.

Truly fantastic. Beautiful hut with a wide selection of food and drinks. The location couldn't have been better chosen. Surrounded by rocks, the Marderbach stream flows alongside the campsite, where children can play carefree in the water. There's also a Kneipp pool and a few hammocks. Right next to the hut and the campsite is the entrance to the Marderbach Gorge. A truly beautiful area. I only happened to pass by because I extended my hike a bit and wanted to visit the Marderbach Gorge. Highly recommended.

Räubertisch (robber's table) in Schmalwassergrund, large selection of beer, cocktails, and food from the local butcher 👍🏻 Plenty of places to relax, lounge chairs, hammocks, or simply sit at the "Räubertisch" (robber's table). Ideal as a starting point or destination for a hike, bike ride, or walk. Open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere 👍🏻

Since June, there's been a lovely snack bar here, the Räubertisch! It's an ideal starting point or destination for a hike. The snack bar is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. From there, you can head to the Marderbach Gorge, the new dam, the old dam, the Falkenstein, or simply enjoy nature.

New from Pentecost '25. Saturday and Sunday there will be bratwurst and roasted pork (from the local butcher), beer and soda, as well as coffee and cake. There's a small playground for kids and plenty of places to chill. Good luck and perseverance!
