The Pèrolles Bridge is a mighty, high bridge with concrete arches that spans the deeply cut river Saane (La Sarine) and connects the Marly district with the Boulevard de Pèrolles. The Cistercian Abbey of Hauterive was founded in 1138 by William of Glâne. The abbey was abolished in 1848. The cloister is covered with Gothic ribbed vaults.
