Nice to drive but very little going on here. So you should have enough food with you and be prepared for breakdowns, because you can hardly expect help from passers-by.

The landscape 🚵♂️passes you by like in a 3D cinema, pure nature🏞🌲, easy and family-friendly bike path that is really fun and the houseboats are happy too 🛥

great bike path. But it's true, if you don't have anything to eat/drink with you, you might have a problem. There are benches and tables, but relatively few.

Saar/Kohle Canal. Just a super nice bike path that is a lot of fun. Suitable for families.

there are some but not very many bridges across the canal. Here is one of them. Offers a very nice view. Unfortunately, you can't get directly to the bridge from Kanalweg.

The canal path is easy to master without effort and without an E. 50 to 100 km have been driven quickly, with pleasure and again and again wonderful impressions. Rest areas are few and far between. It is best to take a picnic blanket with you.
