The Dossi-Comuni Park, opened in spring 2015, had previously been abandoned. It includes a 60-hectare pine forest and a 9-hectare botanical garden, established in 1972 in the Dossi Comuni area in Nicastro. The botanical garden features more than 1000 plant species, including native trees, shrubs and herbs, as well as fruit trees, palms and succulents, divided into several thematic sections.
