The section of the bike path parallel to the SS36 between Suello and Civate is closed for roadworks! We had to take Via Cariolo and then Via Roncaglio di Civate to avoid entering the SS36, which is prohibited.

Short but enchanting stretch of cycle path

The cycle/pedestrian area is beautiful, in absolute tranquility away from roads and immersed in nature. The only negative note that should not be underestimated is that there is no cycle path for a stretch of a couple of km and therefore you necessarily have to walk on a fairly busy road.

From this point the view is wonderful

On the shores of Lake Annone, the peninsulas of Isella and Annone develop opposite each other, dividing the lake into two basins, connected by a narrow canal just a few metres wide.
