Aubonne Castle is a medieval fortress located in the commune of Aubonne, in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Built before 1197, it has undergone numerous transformations over the centuries. Perched on a hill, it overlooks the town and the Aubonne ravine, offering a beautiful panorama of the surrounding area and Lake Geneva. In addition to the castle, the town of Aubonne boasts a rich architectural heritage with its picturesque alleyways, terraced houses, and its Protestant church built in 1577 from the former Catholic church of Trévelin. Nearby, the Arboretum du Vallon de l'Aubonne houses a collection of over 3,000 species of trees and shrubs from around the world, while the Parc du Signal de Bougy offers leisure activities for the whole family.

In April and May, the Tulip Festival takes place in the Parc de l'Indépendance in Morges. Many beautiful beds with diverse varieties of tulips are planted there. Truly worth a visit and a short trip!

The town of Morges lies not far from Lausanne on the shores of Lake Geneva, overlooking the majestic Mont Blanc. It's a fantastic base for exploring the magnificent landscape. With its impressive castle, which houses several museums, Morges is considered a cultural hotspot. Its charming streets and alleys, as well as the Tulip Festival, which takes place from April to May, attract an international crowd every year. A market is held in the heart of the old town, in the pedestrian zone on the Grand Rue, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

You'll find a nice view just under it, it looks really like a castle you would find in disney movies or cartoons with a princess to be saved.

The horse museum in the outbuildings shows horse-drawn vehicles and highlights the role of the horse and harness in warfare, in the circus, in hunting with greyhounds, etc.

This castle is located in a park above the village and dates back to the 11th century. It was renovated in the 15th and 16th centuries. In front of the living area with two round corner turrets there are two heavy square towers with aisles.

The castle is open every day. I recommend a visit.
