A gem of a castle, perfectly nestled against the backdrop of the Vaud Alps and lush vineyards. The castle houses a wine-growing museum. Admission to the castle and museum is subject to a fee. Raiffeisen MemberPus members enjoy free admission. The small snack bar and shop right by the entrance caters to modest desires.

The wine museum in the castle is very well done. I recommend really good shoes for the hike.

The castle has been sitting at the heart of the Chablais vineyards since the end of the 12th century. The monument houses the Vine, Wine and Label Museum. You can ride via the regular road or up a steep and roughly cobbled street in the old town. In summer, enjoy a glass of wine on the patio of the nearby Pinte du Paradis
