Nice route through the protected site of the Nant Valley. Steady climb mainly through the forest and arrival at the famous "hole". The passage is done without a backpack, which you will push in front of you, for the duration of the passage. Claustrophobic ok! Not suitable for dogs I would say. A few dizzying passages just before the arrival, caution and concentration and all is well! Descent and return to Pont de Nant or Les Plans sur Bex, quite steep descent towards the end.

The view on both sides of the valley, from the summit, is worth the effort of climbing it, which is an intense effort ... nature is so beautiful, between rocks and mountain pastures, and the path steep but never dangerous! The Aigle-Illarsaz cycle bridge is a beautiful suspension bridge that crosses the Rhône and connects the cantons of Valais and Vaud. From the summit, at 2351 m, we admire a 360 degree view with Les Diablerets to the south, Lake Lioson to the north, the Col des Mosses to the west. Previously you could go to the summit by cable car.
