Bingsbu is a lovely mountain hut located next to the lake Bingstjønna. There is no more peaceful environment in which to relax.

Renovated in 2021, Kittilbua is a charming, self-service log cabin surrounded by lush coniferous forest. It features on both the Omveien and Jotunheimstien long-distance hiking routes and is an ideal base camp for exploring Langsua National Park's nature reserves.

As of 2022, Gjertrud and Alv no longer offer overnight stays or meals. This is stated on the official Pilgrimsleden website. However, they are happy to allow you to sleep in your own tent. I was even allowed to use the shower and toilet. They were very nice.

DNT Kittilbua is a very cozy, easily accessible bivouac surrounded by lush coniferous forest. Quiet is assured!

Along Gudbrandsdalsleden in Øyer approx 12 km north of Lillehammer, you will find this pilegrimsbu. It's is located 20 meters from the trail and offers a pleasant rest stop, toilets and water. There is also a waste bin where you can leave your litter. Here you can recharge both yourself, and your phone and other equipment.

The path to this accommodation is an absolute dream! The accommodation itself is very simple, has an outhouse and an outdoor shower a little further away. But the view is priceless!
