You can rent the via ferrata kit in Sampeyre (Bernardi sport). From the chapel of Sant’Anna di Bellino, follow the path up to the Grange Cruset (ferrata sign). Abandoned since the main path continue on the branch that climbs towards the north on the grassy slope until you reach a depression of large boulders at the base of the yellowish wall of the Rocca Senghi. Turning right the path, with numerous serpentines, climbs the steep grassy gully that flanks the eastern wall of the fortress. A branch to the left leads to the start of the direct route, aerial and fully equipped with metal steps (for experts only). Continuing a little longer on the path, a second branch, always to the left, leads to another via ferrata that runs along a ledge and joins the upper part of the previous one. Equipped with metal ropes and steps, it is certainly less demanding than the previous one, even if some slightly aerial passages do not fail to give emotions (I would define it as passable by people with average experience of via ferrata, but certainly not for beginners, as stated the sign at the bottom of the valley). Descent: from the rounded summit go down the path to the remains of the former military shelter already seen during the ascent and from here retrace the ascent route in the opposite direction, or descend from the top and reach the entrance to the tunnel (sign) that leads to communication between the two sides of the fortress and comes out near the aforementioned shelter. The beginning of the tunnel is downhill (to be covered upstream), equipped with metal steps and ropes for safety (easy and fun). The whole path, rather windy, is in the dark, so equip yourself with a front panel. N.B .: obviously, those who do not want to climb via the via ferratas can easily reach the top by path and / or tunnel (diff .: E).
