A less crowded mountain, it's much quieter than nearby Monte Rai, which can be seen from the summit of Monte Prasanto. Recommended and especially very sunny, even in winter!

The climb from Forcella dei Corni to Corno di Canzo Occidentale follows a section classified as EE, with sections on rock and grass, and some easy climbing. It requires sure-footedness and caution, especially on wet ground and rocks. An excellent place to admire the surrounding panorama.
