This complex, also known as the Sanctuary of the Annunciation, is located in a splendid panoramic position overlooking the valley and is a site of great historical, artistic, and spiritual interest. Founded in the 15th century, the Sanctuary is a notable example of Lombard late Gothic architecture. The convent is run by the Capuchin Friars and is particularly linked to the figure of Blessed Innocenzo da Berzo, whose cell-museum is open to visitors.

The Sedulzo Chapel is a memorial located along the trail from Borno to Lake Lova. It was built in 1958 to commemorate a dramatic episode of World War II. It is located in Sedulzo, about two-thirds of the way along the trail, on the left side as you ascend. This chapel was built as a votive offering by a group of deportees from Borno, survivors of the Italian concentration camp of Villafranca. The building is simple yet significant: it has a gabled roof, plastered stone walls, a concrete base, a mosaic floor, and a polished stone altar. The interior walls feature two frescoes by the painter Enrico Peci, depicting the war episode and framed by votive offerings. The chapel is a stopover point for hikes to the Laeng Refuge, Pizzo Camino, and the Monte Arano Cave. It can also be reached from the Church of San Fiorino, via a circular route that passes through picturesque landscapes and historic sites. The Sedulzo Chapel is the focus of guided hikes and local commemorations, tied to the memory of the Borno deportees during World War II. CAI Trails 106 and 182: connect Borno to Lova Lake, San Fermo Refuge, and Laeng Refuge, with parking available near the lake. Hike from Navertino: includes the chapel, Lova Lake, Pian di Merì, Malga Moren, San Fermo Refuge, and Laeng Refuge. 🙏 Commemorative Events The chapel is occasionally featured in religious and cultural events: In 1998, on the occasion of Pope John Paul II's visit to Borno, a commemorative inscription was dedicated to the chapel, part of the "The Journey of the Word" project. The Pro Loco Borno and the Municipality of Borno publish calendars of events that sometimes include celebrations linked to historical memory

Lake Lova is a picturesque hiking destination located above Borno, on the Altopiano del Sole plateau in Val Camonica. It is appreciated for its alpine landscape, tranquility, and the variety of surrounding trails. The lake is located at approximately 1,392 meters above sea level and can be reached via several hiking trails, including the Sentiero della Memoria (Path of Remembrance) that starts from the church of San Fiorino in Borno. After a short paved stretch to the Trattoria Navertino, you take a dirt path that winds through larch and fir trees, with steep sections and slippery cobblestones. The hike is immersed in a natural environment typical of the Lombard Prealps, with natural fountains and good cell phone coverage. A longer alternative is the Monte Mignone – Lake Lova circular hike, approximately 11.1 km long with an elevation gain of 837 meters, to be done counterclockwise. This route offers spectacular views and passes through pastures and woods, with the lake as its focal point. Lake Lova is also a hub for other trails: from here, you can continue towards the San Fermo Refuge or the Laeng Refuge, following CAI trails 106 and 182. Parking is available near the lake, making it accessible even for less experienced hikers. Scenically, the lake is nestled in a green valley surrounded by woods and pastures, with calm waters reflecting the sky and surrounding mountains. It's an ideal destination in all seasons, but particularly captivating in autumn due to the colorful foliage.
