The 5.5-meter-high stainless steel cross on the Querweg trail above Goldberg and below Sonnenhalde was erected in October 2022 by the Bad Imnau volunteer fire department's senior members. A beautifully designed Christmas trail in the woods. The local associations put a lot of effort into creating each station. The trail is barrier-free and therefore also suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.

The Forest Christmas Trail is open daily from November 30, 2025 to January 6, 2026. It is approximately 2.5 km long, starting from the forest parking area. From December 14, 2025 to January 4, 2026, the shelter will be open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
