Bad Bertrich 시의 멋진 전망입니다. 하지만 이 전망은 마치 엿보기 구멍과 같습니다. 하이킹 트레일은 양쪽 모두 빽빽한 초목으로 둘러싸여 있어 거의 원시림과 같습니다. 이곳에서 강조할 만한 것은 상록성 회양목(Buxus sempervirens)으로, 따뜻한 기후를 좋아하는 종으로 남쪽 경사면에서 특히 잘 자라고 번성합니다. 속칭 이 나무를 „Palm“이라고도 하며, 전설에 따르면 로마인들이 이곳으로 가져왔다고 합니다. 이러한 특별함 때문에 Palm 숲은 천연 기념물로 지정되었습니다.

The waterfall is located in the Tiefenbach valley, above the old town of Bernkastel. A very beautiful hiking trail leads to this truly spectacular waterfall!

The St. Anne Chapel and the Stations of the Cross date back to 1890 and are designed in the Neo-Gothic style. A huge mosaic on the back of the chapel wall, which also marks the 14th station and the end of the Stations of the Cross, is absolutely worth seeing.

The square is characterized by its unique grace and dignity, setting it apart from other market squares in Germany, as it combines attractive coziness with carefree cheerfulness, thus becoming the town's living room. It also serves as its ballroom, the focal point and heart of its life. The 400-year-old half-timbered houses, the Renaissance Town Hall (1608), the St. Michael's Fountain (1606), and the much-admired, charming "Pointed House" (1416) reflect the living poetry of the Middle Ages. The filigree work of the fountain grille, the ornaments and colorful beam drawings in the half-timbering of the houses, and the ornate weather vanes on the roof gables still bear eloquent witness to the town's former prosperity and history. Those exploring the dream trail "Pyrmonter Felsensteig" will reach the highest point of the route on the Sammetzkopf. There, an illuminated summit cross stands prominently, even in the dark. From the Sammetzkopf, an impressive view opens up: It stretches as far as Münstermaifeld with its magnificent collegiate church and further to the volcanoes of the Eastern Eifel. The wide panoramic view over the plateau forms a fascinating yet harmonious contrast to the narrow paths in the Elz Valley.
