In the village of Saint-Germain-du-Bois, you'll find several restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, and a shopping center. There are even charging stations for electric cars. The village is a 7-minute drive from the Meix Gagnard guesthouse.

A beautiful lake with lots of frogs and ducks. The path around the lake is overgrown with 1m-high grass in May. A shame! The Étang Philippe lake next door is hidden behind the greenery. You can choose your way back either via the gravel path or the local road.

But please also note that they treat their wastewater biologically and lovingly maintain their house and garden.

Enjoy a relaxing stay! We'll take care of your breakfast, with fresh bread from the bakery every day and homemade jam. The beds are made, the room is equipped with towels and a private bathroom, and the tourist tax is included in the price. The kitchen has everything you need, and you can leave the house almost swept clean – except for the kitchen! You can also use our saltwater pool, the pétanque court, and the large garden. We'll provide you with special items from our private home if you're looking for something. For activities in the area, you can enjoy walks, bike rides, or visits to historic towns. Nature lovers will find plenty to enjoy along the nearby Doubs and Saône rivers, as well as in the nearby Jura Mountains. We're happy to give you tips for your explorations. The information board explains the cycle path: This road is one of the 5 roads in the Jura cycle path network. It connects Dole with Lons-le-Saunier, the EuroVelo 6 with the "voie Bressane", through an old railway line that crosses the "plaine du Finage" in the north and the "Bresse jurassienne" in the south. It's really wonderful to cycle on - it's like flying over the landscape or meditating! The old train stations that have been preserved are beautiful.

The Voie de la Bresse Jurassienne connects Lons-le-Saunier to Dole. It forms the link between EuroVelo 6 and the Voie Bressane. Over 53 kilometers, this cycle route follows an old railway line through the Jura Bresse and the Finage plain.
