A very beautiful waterfall. But be careful! The lower part was very slippery, and the suspension bridge with its metal grate was very dangerous for dogs. Their claws could easily get caught in the metal and injure themselves.

The Saltòn Waterfall is a hidden gem in the heart of the Prealps, on the border between Trentino and Belluno: the Senàiga stream makes a spectacular 30-meter leap, carving its way through a natural rock amphitheater. The setting is heavenly and breathtaking! At the bottom of the valley, the setting is fairytale-like: the water flows crystal-clear and lively between the high walls of the gorge, with hues ranging from light blue to turquoise; moss envelops rocks and entire trees, creating a fairy-tale, almost surreal atmosphere. To reach the waterfall, you follow an adventurous and steep trail that descends steeply to the valley floor from the Molin de Sot area. The most exposed and slippery sections are equipped with ladders, cables, and metal handrails; you cross three rickety bridges; the final stretch is a narrow ledge over the deep gorge. This is a route marked EE: it's nothing particularly difficult, but it definitely requires familiarity with rough terrain and good hiking shoes. The return journey is obviously all uphill. The waterfall can also be reached from the SP212 road that connects Castel Tesino to Lamon.

Short and intense via ferrata, always next to the stream which makes numerous waterfalls. The via ferrata crosses it a couple of times, the first with a beautiful Tibetan bridge. Be careful of the humidity! Very short approach, practically on the edge of the road. Parking with 5-6 parking spaces. Duration of the via ferrata about forty minutes + about 30 minutes for the return. I don't know about other times of the year but when I did it it was very full of water. Technically not difficult, it is made only of metal rungs, so it is not climbable.

Wild but at the same time not far from Cavalese and Castello di Fiemme, this waterfall anticipates by a few dozen meters the flow of the Val Moena stream into the Avisio. It has a great sound and visual impact, certainly one of the best waterfalls in the area.

The Cavalese waterfall is fed by the Rio Val Moena, which rises in the beautiful mountain valley of the same name. It is interesting to watch how its water falls over the edge of the rocks about 20m into the depths. It looks as if it is pointing an index finger towards the sky. If you watch it from the bridge, at the outlet, you are impressed by the unbridled power of nature and feel the fine spray on your face. Several short and longer (circular) paths lead around the waterfall.

It's a magical place, the trees are covered in moss. You enter this valley and suddenly you find a beautiful waterfall in front of you. The last piece to get down to the valley must be done with caution! Good boots and be careful, but it's worth it.

You can go by car right in front of it, parking costs € 5, or you can leave the car higher up on the road (if there is room) and walk down. There is a ring for those who want to walk for about 2 hours, or you can spend the day on the lawns playing / sunbathing etc. There is also a beautiful area among the fir trees, with tables and benches and a fireplace for grilling. Highly recommended for those with small children.

Small and steep trails lead through the forest via small suspension bridges to this waterfall - the way is definitely worth it!
