The opening hours in winter are limited and not ideal for cyclists to eat during the day. I hope that changes again in summer.

The village square at the Mussenhausen pilgrimage church, which was newly created in 2023, is a nice opportunity for a break. There are benches, a lounger, a fountain, a playground, information boards about the local history and hiking trails and access to the Auerbach for a Kneipp session or just to cool off your feet.

The water treading facility in Markt Rettenbach is beautifully laid out. For a little refreshment, there is an ice cream machine right next to it.

The Gasthof Adler has a very nice beer garden, where you can also eat well.

Beautiful and worth seeing place. Various shops with supermarket, bakery, etc. Large sports shop on site, where you can get everything for your next activities in the mountains. Attached is also a very well stocked bicycle house with a workshop in case something breaks. There is a small park in the center, ideal for a rest.
