Beautiful castle on the mountain in private ownership

Great view of Heiligenberg Castle and the surrounding area of Lake Constance. When the weather conditions are good, you can see a wonderful Alpine panorama.

Worth seeing

The tower can be visited at any time, the ascent is very adventurous. The key hangs on the left above the door. The light switch is located in the entrance area of the tower. Very important: switch off the light again after the visit, lock the door and hang the key back!

With children at the playground on the gently sloping pebble beach - very nice, trees on the square and water jet fountain with rivulets - great for the whole family 👍

Königsegg Castle actually lies spectacularly on a steep slope above the Hoßkircher plain. But since this steep slope is forested, you don't see too much of the spectacular location. However, a hiking trail leads to the castle and cyclists can also get there via private gravel paths. The castle is inhabited and managed, so it cannot be visited. But the external proportions are harmonious and you can see the huge supports with which the castle is secured against the steep slope.
