A tough section, where you have to find your line well to avoid too much bouncing. The real Flandrien rides it as a climb of course (pay close attention if you were to descend it). Here and there the stones are quite far apart, filled with sand. A beautiful climb, almost through a sunken road. Because of those trees on the side, there is a bit more bouncing with the tree roots. The Borgvlietse Duinen is a vast area with sand drifts, crossed by the walking route Trage Tocht Zoomland. The area is reminiscent of the larger Loonse and Drunense Duinen, a little further away in Brabant, but in a more compact form. The landscape is rugged and quiet, with wide sandy plains and special nature.

The building permit granted for the Johanna also mentioned its use as an oil mill and the mill may have been equipped as such. There was also a sawing mill in the Johanna. During the Second World War the mill was used to grind grain and generate electricity. In the 1960s the mill fell into disrepair. It was sold to the municipality of Huijbergen in 1966, which immediately had it restored. The mill was made ready for grinding in the years 1968/1969. Nowadays, volunteer millers keep the mill running regularly.
