Unfortunately, the tower is closed in winter. But it would certainly be a wonderful view from above. The landmark of Römerstein, the Römerstein tower is located between the districts of Böhringen and Donnstetten. From April to November the tower is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Otherwise, the key can be borrowed from the Römerstein mayor's office. Height above sea level: 874 m Tower height: 28 m Entry: Adults EUR 0.50 Children 0.25 EUR For members and their families of a hiking club that belongs to the German Hiking Association, entry is free on presentation of a membership card.

Römerstein tower today in the winter wonderland - unfortunately only open from April to November.

From here, too, there is a magnificent view of the Filstal.

The descent path to the Eckenfels (in the direction of Geislingen) should be avoided when it is wet.
