The route is actually not allowed for cyclists. But when there are no pedestrians, it is great fun to master the narrow passage on old wooden planks through the water house with a lot of skill.

A very special ruin for me. The way there is beautiful. The situation is almost mystical. Definitely worth seeing.

The water house was planned by Karl Friedrich von Duttenhofer (1801–1871) in 1823 and built a year later to replace an ice rake. 😊
