At the top near the castle there is a free parking space for cars with no time limit. From there it's a five-minute walk to the castle or Thick Tower.

Rosenstein Castle is a country castle in Stuttgart's Rosenstein Park, which was built in the 1820s. Today the Stuttgart Natural History Museum is in the building.

Rosenstein Castle is the seat of the biological exhibition of the Stuttgart State Museum of Natural History. In various areas you can get an overview of today's animal world and the large ecosystems of the earth. Rosenstein Castle is a country palace in Stuttgart, which was built in the classical style in 1824-1829 under King Wilhelm I by his court architect Giovanni Salucci. The palace is in the immediate vicinity of the Wilhelma zoological and botanical gardens on the eastern edge of an English landscaped garden, next to the Rosenstein Park. Behind the castle you have a beautiful view of the Neckar with the lock and railway bridges.

This site is also very impressive and as far as I know, the University of Hohenheim is also the only university that is housed in a castle.
