Very nice place for a break. The hut is very spacious and therefore a bit dark. But there are also great places to rest outside the refuge.

The ascent to the Buchberg summit is a bit strenuous but definitely worth it. Fantastic vision, in clear weather up to the Alps.

Not quite as nice as at the refuge, as it is right next to a parking lot with quite a few other day trippers who come here by car.
