Hiking pass “Open your eyes” is the motto on the Hochschwarzwald premium hiking trails. Because on every route there is a stamp point in the shape of a cuckoo clock. These offer the opportunity to document the hikes with a stamp in the Hochschwarzwälder hiking pass. Nice invitation for the kids

Nice playground where our children couldn't walk past without space 😉

The ascent to the Buchberg summit is a bit strenuous but definitely worth it. Fantastic vision, in clear weather up to the Alps.

Not quite as nice as at the refuge, as it is right next to a parking lot with quite a few other day trippers who come here by car.

Nice barbecue area and playground directly at the parking lot

An inviting place at the destination of the stage, for eating, drinking and, if necessary and space, also to stay overnight. The innkeeper is very nice.
