On the Upper Don Valley section of the Trans Pennine Trail, the tunnel is part of the abandoned railway line between Penistone and Wortley. It's lit and super echoy so quite fun to play in. It's also always really cold, so great on a hot summer day.

Absolutely gorgeous climb out of Rivelin. Managed fine on a gravel bike with 42mm tires. Nothing too loose but technical enough to stay engaged.

Opened in 1892 by the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway, Killamarsh Central had two platforms, each with a timber building and a large canopy. The station closed to the public in 1963 when local services on the Great Central were discontinued. The platforms and sidings remained in use for goods traffic until 1965.

Turner wood is a particularly picturesque place with the canal side cottages and the locks, there also seems to be a couple of resident Swan families too, a lovely place to ride or walk but there is a dismount sign in front of the cottages so please respect this 🙏🙏

I’m not usually a canal tow path rider but it has to be said that the Chesterfield canal is pretty with many picturesque locks and canal side cottages, lovely place 🥰🥰

Great descent but can be busy in good weather, particularly at the weekends.

Lovely old disused railway line, now a perfect Greenway linking Creswell and Clowne. This Greenway is around 5 miles on easy to cycle gravel path, continues on towards Poolsbrook and Staveley

There are a group of three reservoirs that are located in Fulwood, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. They are fed by various small streams that run off the Hallam Moors.
